A New Education policy for a New India
The world is a dynamic place within a blink of an eye you would see something new in front of you. So change is a constant and important part of this world, as nothing can remain the same throughout life. With the presence of something which is there without any difference in it makes one feel bore and less productive about it, just like the colors of the wall which requires a new coating every few years just to restore its charm similarly everything around us needs a change, a change of good.
One of the most powerfully influential and important weapons in this world is education without a second thought it is something which you cannot and should not ignore with the time we have seen how the education policy has changed bringing some sort of change to help students gain in grow the national policy on education was a frame in in 1986 and modify in 1992 making necessary changes there with increasing population in the country in the government had to take necessary measures to bring out something important to help the country develop and grow by making the citizens more cultivated in all the necessary fields with the help of such reforms it will reposition the current situation of students an educational institution with the right set of policies making it a strong and efficient system for the new India the new education policy aims to bring a major change in the current system it Indians to reduce end changes the current curriculum restructure the pedagogy, special provision for the education of the children, to reduce the load from curriculum.
Giving special focus and attention to extra curicullam activities, making children more innovative and develop skills with a major emphasis on developing life skills, for promotion of the Indian classical language and encouraging other sorts of sources to seek education . All the aforesaid points are part of the new education policy which is likely to bring a difference in the system and take it to a new horizon.
OBJECTIVE
The new education policy focuses on the integrated development
It replaces the 10+2 system with the 5+3+3+4 structure, which states 12 years of schooling and 3 years of pre-schooling, thus kids with the experience of schooling at an earlier of the learners. stage.
The examinations will be conducted in the 3, 5, and 8th grades only, others will go for the regular assessments. Board exams will also be made easier and, and held twice a year so that each child gets two attempts.
The policy envisages a multi-disciplinary and integrated approach to the undergraduate programs with greater flexibility of exit from the course.
The state and central government will work together towards greater public investments by the public for education will give rise to GDP by 6%, at its earliest.
The new education policy focuses on enhancing practical education instead of laying stress on books for learning.
NEP allows for the development and learning of children by general interaction, group discussions, and reasoning.
The NTA will conduct a common entrance exam for universities at a national level.
The students will have the freedom to select the course they desire to learn along with the course subjects, thus promoting skill development.
The government will be setting up new ways of research and innovations at the university and college level by setting NRF (National Research Foundation).
CONCLUSION
A new India, a changing India, and a better India need better drafting and policy to to make it a better and developed place as the better the level of education the more the level of educated people in their country and the more advanced and progressive the country will be. education has and will always play a vital role in determining the value strength and capabilities of the country so no matter how difficult it is to implement the framed policy in this big mass of land with a gigantic population, but it still has to be done to see as a long term success and make this country a better place having enough to offer to everyone.
