Due to the stress and increasing tensions in today’s fast pacing life, people are getting into the trap of alcohol addictions. A large number of youths and unemployed people are usually seen drinking alcohol to get relief from the stress or other problems they are suffering from as they think that it is the right option for them to get out of their various problems. Knowledge is also imparted to them in schools and colleges about the dangerous after effects of alcohol drinking even then, many of them took this step to be relieved from the tension and stress in their minds. Some people’s expectations are very high and when they are not able to achieve their goal, they become depressed and may start drinking alcohol.
Drinking acts a poison for the society and the industry. It is also the root cause of many crimes. Teenage drinking is seen as the teens try these things for fun or show offs. Underage drinking is also seen. Sometimes kids see their parents drink or watch TV commercials that make drinking look like a lot of fun, so they try to consume it and later on, nothing is left except depression and addiction as alcohol is a depressant or we can say a kind of drug. There are very dangerous effects of alcohol abuse and side effects of drinking alcohol. Drinking alcohol affects the central nervous system which controls virtually all body functions.
Constant abuse of alcohol results in the accumulation of toxins in the body. High level of alcohol consumption has a high risk of cardiovascular diseases, cancer, alcoholism, liver damage, damage to the central nervous system. Some people start taking alcohol or sleeping pills to sleep and slowly become used to and addicted to such things and become unconscious of what they start doing, they might start misbehaving, stealing money for getting the liquor or might become a big problem for the family members. They might lose their balance and may have trouble in walking properly. Excessive drinking or drinking too much alcohol can even lead to alcohol poisoning which can also lead to the death of a person. Alcohol binge drinking is also very common these days.
Alcohol binge drinking can be referred as drinking alcoholic beverages to become intoxicated by heavy consumption of alcohol over a short period of time. It is very necessary to quit drinking alcohol and alcohol withdrawal is needed. It is not very difficult to quit the drinking habits but one has to have a strong will power to quit it. Some alcohol withdrawal symptoms are seen in the person who stops the use of alcohol after chronic or prolonged ingestion. They may be: Anxiety, Fever, Headache, Difficulty in sleeping or thinking clearly etc. It is good for the alcohol addicters to have alcohol detoxification. It is the removal of alcohol from the body of alcohol addicters. Detoxification from alcohol can be done at home too such as: A person must drink plenty of water and cranberry juice throughout the day. Have a nutritious and well balanced diet. Avoid the use of fatty foods in the diet. Also, do not keep alcohol at home or work, this will work well. Start to control the amount of alcohol you drink daily. Exercise daily. Keep yourself busy with work so that you do not get time to even think for consuming alcohol. Avoid alcoholic drinks by keeping away from bars, pubs and even friends who may be drinking. Life is precious and live and enjoy it upto your fullest. So, if you are reading this article, then stop drinking today even stop drinking now.
