Though this movie was released in 2015, I watched it just the day before yesterday. And believe me, this movie is amazing, really amazing. Why didn’t t watch it earlier? Ughh!!
The cast of the movie is also superb. Farhan Akhtar, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Anil Kapoor. This movie was made to be amazing, just look at the casting dude!
So, the movie basically revolves around the parents of Ayesha ( Priyanka Chopra) and Kabir ( Ranveer Singh) and their parents ( Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah). Ayesha was in love with Sunny ( Farhan Akhtar), he was the son of the manager of her father. He didn’t like their closeness and as a result, send Sunny to the U.S. for education so that he can stay away from Ayesha. Cliche move.
Actually, Ayesha’s fathers’ business was at a loss. He wanted his friend to buy 49% per cent of his shares and to do so he decided to invite his close friends on a cruise to celebrate his anniversary.
The whole story was narrated by a dog “Pluto”. He shared his feelings about the humans and people around him. It’s insane. I know. If you didn’t, You have to watch this movie.
So, coming back to the story, Ayesha was married to Manav, whom she never loved and she was doing amazing in her business. But no one really supported her not even her own parents. They wanted Kabir to take over everything, but Kabir was not interested. He had an interest in Planes and wanted to become a pilot.
On the cruise, Kabir fell in love with Farah ( Anushka Sharma) who was a dancer there. You must be wondering, how the hell Kabir’s parents will accept her. Yeah, but they did at last.
Well, the story kept on taking interesting turns every now and then. So, better watch the movie. I am not going to give you any further spoilers.
