FACING FAILURES

What do you do when you fail? What is one expected to be like when faced with failure. As far as my encounters with failures go, I find myself dumbfounded and shocked. I find myself unable to understand what has happened for few days and eventually the feeling of having lost out on something gets to me. That feelings is greater when you work hard, more than you ever have.

The days following a failure truly define the character of an individual. Some forget the other important things in life while wallowing. But only a few go on doing what they’re supposed to do, even with remorse and angst in their hearts. But the rarest of them all are those who can make peace with the failure and accept who they really are.

The last option seems very peaceful and easy to do. But is the hardest to adapt by. Failures don’t mean that you stop dreaming for big things in life. Failures are happening to you because you have tried. Ofcourse seeing your peers succeed and feeling left out is not something only you are facing. These feelings are here to help you rise above the average. These thoughts are here to lift you to greatness.

Failure makes one question their dreams, it’s scale, it’s consequences and the magnitude of impact it has on one’s personality. Seldom do we remember that amidst the chaos, there is light at the end of the tunnel. That light is of courage and hope. That is the divine light of going on and never losing the will to conquer.

Out of all the great people in the world, there is no one who has never failed. People fail miserably but what makes them great is their power to accumulate energies and rise again, like a phoenix rising from its ashes. The pheonix resembles the tired human being who has attempted tough things in life, the ashes are the remnants of desires in life and ultimately the event of rising from the desires is the spirit of humankind that prevails above all.

True achievement is aiming for the balance where failure is as welcomed as success. There are doubts but only for them to be eliminated. There are backup plans but only for a better life, not for the sake of losing out. The next time faced with failure, pat your back and tell yourself to buck up and not lose sight of the forthcoming battle, the battle of life.
