Many companies like Google, Facebook, whats App, Linkedin are ready to accept the rule

Twitter has fought against the new It Rules 2021 with the Government of India

The rules apply to those companies which have more than 50 Lakh users. It helps the victim at the time of misuse

Different type of Social Media like Google, Facebook, What’s App, Twitter which is not ready to comply the IT rule 2021. There is a battle between social media and the government. According to the new rules, it is necessary to appoint intermediaries officers by Google, what’s the app, Facebook, Twitter. After all the discussion with the Government, Google, what’s App, Facebook has agreed to appoint the Intermediaries officers but Twitter is not ready to comply with the rules. Twitter proposed to appoint an outside consultant but it was rejected by the Government of India. According to the Government of India no consonance with the guidelines.

  What’s App is also not ready to accept the rules. So. They preferred to go to Delhi High Court relating to Unlawful Messages. Twitter has blamed the Government on the matter of “dangerous overreach that is inconsistent with open, “democratic principles”.

The company argued that this Law infringes the fundamental right of privacy and free speech of 400 million users in India and its break the “end to end encryption” before the Delhi High Court.

 But after all the problem relating to accepting the rules of Government, Many companies have come forward to accept the guideline of the new IT rules 2021. Linkedin, Telegram, Google, Facebook, WhatsApp have ready to accept the rules and share the details about their Officers on Friday and Koo, share chat has appointed their officers who are mandate according to the new IT rules but Twitter is not ready to accept the rules. 

But it is not clear that all the companies have followed all the rules regarding IT rules 2021 such as messages tracing, Voluntary verification of users and content alteration relating to rape and child pornography. 

Jack Dorsey who is co-founder of the company has shared the Lawyers who are working in the Law firm in India as their grievance Officer but Government has rejected the proposal and said the officer must be a resident of India and an employee of the company. These rules are applied to those companies which have more than 50 Lakh users and the officers should be employees and residing in the country.

So, Twitter has not shared or ready to appoint a new grievance officer. But many companies have accepted the rules of the Government of India. It gives the green signal to the It rules. This rule gives power to social media users when they are a victim of abuse and misuse.

There is a blockhead between the Government of India and Twitter when U.S. based company says about safeguard interest of republic India but the Government of India says to the social media company no need to worry about privacy and safety.
