Gratitude a word often not emphasized upon in its true sense. However we express gratitude only when our work is done or when the work we wanted to get done. We have been reluctant to express gratitude. In the Hindu mythology one must thank the land i.e the earth every morning as the person comes out from the bed. Then thank the god for everything that he has provided us with. Though we might to some extent follow to thank god for all that he has showered upon us we fail to express gratitude to the people who we live with. Right from the sweepers who sweep our vicnity to the soldiers who protect our lives we must thank each one of them. Without each others contribution our life wouldn’t have been smooth. When we express gratitude the person to whom we express our gratitude feels that his or her efforts are recognized. This keeps them contented and helps them to strive to work even harder.
Gratitude is an act of reciprocation when we thank we are served nothing but the best in return. So many people we come across throughout the day from the milkman, newspaper vendor, sweepers, lift incharge, servants, maids, drivers for vehicles, office colleagues, helpers in the office like peons etc we must thank each one of them. This boosts their moral and they work with more enthusiasm. When we thank people outside we must not forget our family members. They are the rock solid support of our lives who wish for our best all the time. So we should start from this moment to thank each and everyone we come across during our day and make their day by bringing a smile of satisfaction on their faces.
