HUMANITY CRISIS IN AFGANISTAN

The US Army ruled around 20 years in Afghanistan .Later the US President Joe Biden decided to withdraw the US troops from Afghanistan. Soon the Taliban entered Kabul and captured the entire nation in their control.

The Taliban negotiated “A Peaceful surrender of the city”. Soon Taliban entered the Kabul, The Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghazi fee the country and the Afghans Government collapse. The Taliban Entered the Presidential Palace and took the control of the city.

The US Administration authorized to deployment of 6000 troops to assist with the evacuation of US and thousands of Afghans who worked with the US were attempting to fee.  The Different countries also tried to evacuate their people from Kabul. The huge amount of people started rushing towards Kabul Airport in an attempt to catch flight. Video footage showing thousands of people running on the runway and waving hands and shouting to helps other people. People prepared to leave everything and risk their life under military rule. Since the mass evacuate began on August 16, the US helped evacuate approximately 1,24,000 people out of Afghanistan according to the latest figures from the White House.  Also Afghans started leaving for Iran and then Turkey on foot. Iran has set up temporary refugee camps along the border with Afghanistan in preparation thousands of civilians.

Video footage has emerged claiming to show the Taliban going door to door threating people. There are also reports of girl’s school being closed. Women have fought hard for their rights including education, equality, basic freedom and many more. Now women are not feeling safe and refuse to work or have been told to stay safe at home. Women started wearing Burkas.Afghanistan has implemented a mixed system of co-education and gender based separate classes in all university and institution. But Taliban bans co-education.

While US forces helping evacuate Afghans desperate to fee Taliban rule were on alert for more attack after an Islamic State suicide bombing outside Kabul Airport killed at least 92 people including 13 US service member. White House even declared that Next few days will be most dangerous. The US advised people to stay away from the area, despite time running out for anyone still trying to access evacuation flights. In retaliation, the US carried out a drone strike on eastern Afghanistan saying that it had killed 2 high-profile IS-K members. It followed another US strike where a US military drone strike blew up a vehicle Laden with explosive in Kabul. The final days of the US presence in Afghanistan were filled with chaos, bloodshed, fare and panic as troops attempted to stave off attacks by ISIS.

On August 31, 2021 the last US plane departed Kabul Airport, marking an end of longest war and leaving the country’s future in uncertainty under Taliban Rule. Celebratory gunfire resounded across Kabul as Taliban took the control of the Airport. Taliban celebrated their victory and said “We are proud of these moments, that we liberated our country from great power”.
