I – Ignorance is a bliss

If you have the super power to ignore the society,
Trust me ,
You are on the right path to sucess

A lot of times ignoring what people say, can be a bliss. There is one simple formula that I follow. I listen to the whole world but I follow my heart. Yes. Sometimes, by just listening to people you can makeout, what you do not want to in life.

No matter how much we try to ignore people around us, it is sometimes next to impossible to ignore them. So there is just one solution. Be choosy and Be upfront. I am quiet reticent by nature and find it very difficult to make friends. I get irritated easily by people these days, since its been quiet sometime that I actually interacted with them. So here are a few tried and tested formula on How to ignore the World around you.

Meditate

Chanting Mantra helps. I usually chant Hanuman Chalisa or Ganapati Stotra, when I am around the people whom I am generally not much fond of. It helps me to keep my head calm and I end up concentrating more on the chanting and less on the people around me. So it kind of helps me to keep my mind sane when I am around such toxic people.

Socialise less

I do not mean to say that do not socialise at all. There are plenty of opportunities to socialise, but if you feel that you come across the set of toxic people at a particular social do, just simply avoid going to out with them. Well yes, it is possible that sometimes it is next to impossible to ignore these people that is when meditation helps.

Music

Headphones and good music always helps as a good companion. Listen to music which will change your mood. Music can bring out the best in you and can make you happy.

Love yourself

The worst thing that negative people do to you is they always try to pull you down. They ensure that you feel low about your self. They make you hate yourself and everything around you. One of the best ways to handle this situation is by loving yourself and taking care of yourself. That will help you in being more confident about yourself.

Express your emotions.

Just the way toxic people ensure that they put forth their point of view. Ensure that you also put forth your point of view about them and their toxicity in front of them. If they can speak their heart, pour your heart in front of them. It may sound harsh to you and them but sometimes that is what is required. It is important that you also tell people openly that you do not like them at all. It is perfectly normal to be open and vocal about the same. Sometimes, these people do not understand that their talks are toxic in nature and bothering you. So just speak out and stand up for yourself. That should help you in the long run.

Removing toxic people from your lives is very important. If you cannot remove toxic people from your lives, learn to ignore them or learn to handle them well. Keep such people at the distance of a hand.
