Fukushima Daiichi has been a major contributor to ocean radioactivity .This chapter provides a brief of such and other cases that harmed the marine life and law .it also provides if the judgements thereby were suffice to mitigate the problem. The Tohoku Earthquake and tsunami caused a nuclear disaster in Fukushima Daiichi, Japan, on 11 March 2011. The waves struck the Japanese coastline after the earthquake. Earthquakes and tsunamis destroyed off-site diesel and rescue generators and the cooling facilities did not normally work because of the lack of electricity. After the shutdown, http://Denis K. Alexeev & Valentina V. Galtsova, Effect of radioactive pollution on the biodiversity of marine benthic ecosystems of the Russian Arctic shelf, 6 Polar Science , 183-195 (2012) the reactors exploded because of the inability to remove latent heat. A significant number of radionuclides have been released into the air and sea after this blast. From 12 to 25 March, several radionuclides were emitted into the air and carried into the interior during the early stage of the occurrence.
From 12 to 25 March, a tonne was released into the air and carried into the interior areas of Japan and the Pacific Ocean during the early phase of the crash. In the part of Japan northwest of Fukushima nuclear site, with a long half-life of about 30.2 years were particularly deposited and contaminated on their soil. The majority of radionuclides, however, were emitted into the air and transported into the Pacifical Ocean.Although internationally it was considered a mishap and unfortunate event and left up. It had a significant effect on the marine environment contributing the largest damage upto now .In other precent and cases related to International and domestic laws significant changes were introduced in order to reduce the pollution in marine environment .In the immediate vicinity of the Fukushima Daiichi plant, http://International Court of Justice in the North Sea Continental Shelf Cases (Fédéral Republic of Germany v. Denmark; Fédéral Republic of Germany v. Netherlands), the elevated concentrations measured in sea water are a result of liquid radioactive releases and certainly have many sources. This involves the water used to cool down the affected reactors that were in contact with substances that were highly polluted by the air and which trickled some of them into water.
A serious concern was seen by the 1972 Stockholm United Nations Human Environment Conference, which drawn global attention to the immediate need for urgently needed action to recognise vital contaminated marine ecosystems, particularly in coastal waters, with the significant rise in marine pollution and the consequent decrease in marine resources. It was unanimouslyhttp://S. Jagannath vs Union Of India & Ors on 11 December, 1996 (1997) 2 SCC 87] decided that the coastal countries should take early steps at their national level to evaluate and manage maritime emissions from all sources and to carry out systematic testing to determine the effectiveness of the measures taken to regulate pollution.
A detailed Model of Action Plan was developed within the framework of the Stockholm Conference and, with a view to 1982 Convention on the Law of the Sea, which defines territorial water authority (UNEP). The Government of India and the governments of the coastal states are legally bound to monitor maritime pollution and protect the coastal ecosystem, keeping to foreign obligations and in greater national interest. In the written petition submitted at the Supreme Court by activist lawyer M.C. Mehta, the Ganga River http://M.C. Mehta vs. Union of India AIR 1988 SCR (2) 538 polluted the dangerous factories on its banks. Judge ES Venkataramiah has delivered an unprecedented judgement ordering the closing of many tanneries close to Kanpur. It was noted in this decision that it cannot be able to, much as an industry that cannot afford its staff the minimum salary.

I have always been against Glorifying Over Work and therefore, in the year 2021, I have decided to launch this campaign “Balancing Life”and talk about this wrong practice, that we have been following since last few years. I will be talking to and interviewing around 1 lakh people in the coming 2021 and publish their interview regarding their opinion on glamourising Over Work.
