In a country like India, drinking alcohol is not much appreciated by our elder generation because they might feel that it is the root cause problems of family issues, health problems, and financial instability, and to some extent they are right but what if alcohol intake is good for your health? The question is interesting and the answer to it is a big YES. Alcohol has many categories, in the respective article we will talk about RED WINE.
Fairly, the Red Wine which is made of crushed dark grapes is considered as good for your heart age if taken charmingly, the substances present as antioxidants called resveratrol prevents artery disease and blood clots, fewer heart attacks, and build the good cholesterol level and prevents inflammation.
National Cancer Institute, one study finds that excessive consumption of alcohol for a long period can cause a high risk of cancer but intake of red wine in moderation prevents the breast cancer and antioxidants present in it prevents the tumor growth and actively causing the death of cancer cells in the body and discoursing metastasis
Red wine also plays a major role in preventing vision loss due to glaucoma and diabetes by reducing pain and oxidative stress. Sometimes due to bad destiny, some people are got attacked by a stroke which causes damage to the brain cells and central nervous system but if a person intakes red wine the risk of stroke grows very less.
If a person having Type 2 diabetes, in which the body does not take insulin properly leading to unusual blood sugar levels but if a person intakes Red Wine with dinner, it simply cut back the risk of cardiometabolic as ethanol presents as a substance helps in metabolizing glucose.
We talked about some benefits of consuming Red Wine above but what if it took excessively and frequently? Can it cause some complications? The answer to this question is also a big YES. The American Heart Association and National Heart, Lund and Blood Institute do not endorse the consumption of alcohol to curtail the risk of cardiac arrest as it could be addictive and aggravate medical problems. The statics shows that in the year 2006-2010, 88,000 people died of excessive drinking.
The pros of drinking Red Wine becomes cons if, took enormously. It could lead to:
- Pancreatitis
- Heart problems and damaged blood vessels
- Cancer
- Liver Blow and fatty disease
- Depression and another Mental disease
- Alcohol Poisoning
- Accidents, Suicide, and Violent behaviour
- Obesity and weak Heart
Moderate drinkers of Red wine are in a much better position than non-drinkers but later are in a much better position than the alcoholic person because drinking causes less good and more harm.
