Indian Women – an Inspiration

Indian Women are not only known for their tradition, culture and docile nature but also for their bravery and sacrifices. Apart from the Bollywood Actresses that we see on screen, we do have quit a few real life Heroines, who have contributed towards the society.

Indian Women, have always played a major in both actively and passively in bringing change in our society. Fighting against Invaders or ruling their respective princely states, Indian Women, have done it all. Yet, they are very poorly represented in our society.

The aim of running this article series, is to make people aware about the strength and contribution of Indian Women, in Bringing in our society. On one side we see crime against women rising in our society, which in turn has somehow suppressed the dreams of thousands of girls. Today, our media is constantly telling our girls, Beware, there is a big bad world ready to eat you. The ground reality is something different.

It is high time, that we tell our girls about real life inspirational and brave women, who have challenged the society and made it a better place for everyone. It is true that Crime against women is a reality, but that should never remain as an obstacle or a knief that cuts off their wings. The Constitution of India grants every citizen of this country to move around freely and allows them to pursue a career of their choice. Yet, even today, women need permission for their families to pursue a career of their choice. Most of the times it is due to safety issues and Log Kya Kahenge. Most of the times, it is also because the women are not aware that they are permitted to have dreams and then fulfill them.

This is my first article series that I am planning to do from January to March 31,2021.

I know I am a bit late in starting this series. But It is neverthe less late to inspire young girls. This series will feature stories of 1001 Indian women from Stories and Real Life, who managed to fight against the circumstances and make an identity for themselves.

Aishwarya Says:

I have always been against Glorifying Over Work and therefore, in the year 2021, I have decided to launch this campaign “Balancing Life”and talk about this wrong practice, that we have been following since last few years. I will be talking to and interviewing around 1 lakh people in the coming 2021 and publish their interview regarding their opinion on glamourising Over Work.
