To understand this huge problem of Marital rape let us first begin by highlighting what does raping a person involves. Rape is a kind of sexual assault in which a person is subjected to sexual intercourse or other forms of sexual penetration without their consent. Physical force, coercion, or abuse of authority may be used against a person who is unable to give valid permission, such as someone who is asleep, disabled, has an intellectual handicap, or is below legal age. Rape is one of the most inhuman crimes happens in and around the world and sadly our country according to the report of National Crime Records Bureau , 32033 rape cases are registered in our country and on average about 88 cases are reported daily. Another demon in our country is the MARITAL RAPE it is crime which is non criminalised in our country
In India, rape in the marriage is a major concern. Every three seconds, one Indian woman is raped by her husband, according to one in three males who acknowledge to rapping their wives. It’s a real travesty that marital rape is still not illegal in the India after all these years. The crime of marital rape has been criminalised in more than 100 nations, yet India is one of only 36 countries where it remains unpunished. Despite the fact that numerous legal reforms have been made to defend women’s rights in our country, the crime of marital rape continues to be overlooked.
I have always been against Glorifying Over Work and therefore, in the year 2021, I have decided to launch this campaign “Balancing Life”and talk about this wrong practice, that we have been following since last few years. I will be talking to and interviewing around 1 lakh people in the coming 2021 and publish their interview regarding their opinion on glamourising Over Work.
