Marriage Immigration Fraud, is fraud which two people do by a fake marriage to get the citizenship of a country, this is the mostly done by students dreaming of doing their graduation or post graduation from abroad and settle themselves there forever, but the problem arises as they do their studies with the visas but visas has their limitation period and when they expire, they have to get back to their country, so in order to avoid it, they fake the marriage bond to obtain the green card and permanent residency of the following country. The countries which top the list from India of marriage frauds are Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
It is the rule if person who wants to obtain the permanent residency, calls another to marry him or her, the former will bear all the expenses, involves public expenses too of the latter until 3 years of marriage, and if any illegal activity by the spouse is done, then also has to bear the expenses. Marriage fraud Rackets are becoming prevalent business nowadays, the problem becomes alarming when the person who were called to marry were himself become the victim of fraud, leads to committing of more suicide or mental and emotional instability, but the solution can be to report to immigration authorities regarding the fraud done with the victim, also the person who marries to the permanent resident of that country is murdered by his or her spouse and their family remains unaware of these facts, so the authorities has to take strict legal action against such fraudulent by deporting him back to his mother- country or cancelling their permanent or temporary membership from entering to that country or imprisonment for the time being.
