MY JOURNEY TO LAW SCHOOL

Since I started speaking, I never stopped. I was an hyperactive, energetic kid, who found everything curious. There was once my mother said that I asked about 34 questions in a minute, and each one of it different, but may or may not be about a particular thing. I used to observe things, small things, insignificant ones, and tell my father hypothetical stories about it. And most of the time it would be so lame that they used to tease me.

Moving fast forward to my teen years. The curiosity never died, rather it increased to 10 times more. My parents thought I will make a great police or something but I was never that way pulled. Talkin’, and asking weird questions without fear was my forte. That one single complaint from teachers, how can I talk so much non stop and then finding solutions no matter how, was my speciality.

Then as I grew up, I started getting angry on small things. No matter who I am standing up against, it was chaos, always. Then I learnt anger doesn’t always have to be loud or violent or aggressive. It can be converted to words, that can be convincing enough to make people lose and you to win. Weird tactics I know, but I was wired that way.

When I was in standard-8, we were asked to write an essay on “what you see as yourself in near future after schooling” and the only thing I could see myself was as a lawyer. So that’s what I thought but I wasn’t sure about it, as my parents wanted me to choose either Medical or Engineering, real cliché I know. So after 10th standard I wanted to take commerce, but my parents said just take science, if then I later wanted I could pursue law.

So two years of me struggling, wailing, got done with my boards, and then I just sat and said I am not doing anything other than law. That’s it. And as the rebel child of the whole family, they knew I won’t listen it if I didn’t get it my way and most of the time I was even right. But these elders won’t say that. Then prepared for 2 months and gave CLAT , scored 97 marks while the cut off for general was 101, and got no government college but my parents accepted that okay I can do it. So didn’t wait for a year and jumped to my college. And then my journey began.

To a college, far from home, new people, new place, new environment, was a challenge but it was a worth it in the end. To endless debates, class battles, quizzes and around 500+ assignments here I am graduated and satisfied with my performance.
Hope you will enjoy reading all about it and have a smile in your face, reading it.
