In 1979, the Mandal commission, or the socially and educationally backward classes commission (SEBC) was established in India under prime Minister Morarji Desai it was headed by B.P Mandal.
Dr B.R Ambedkar the lead author author of Indian Construction.
According to him legislation doesn’t change people that’s why he started and did not believe that reservations for lower casts would change the way society of India at its lower casts.
He argued that reservation will be discontinued after 10 years of the adoption of the constitution.
Dr B.R Ambedkar the founding father of constitution of India on November 30,1948 he noticed that the large scale continuity of reservation quota could destroy the rule of equality of opportunity which is happening now.
According to Dr B.R Ambedkar it could be discontinued but Indian government doesn’t do which creates inequality in opportunities.
Nowadays, in every government field such as government jobs, government educational institutions there is reservation quotas for SC,BC or other lower cast people and people belonging to general cast facing many of the problems.
I saw many cases that peoples of other cases take seat because of the reservation quota even though they are not capable and some student or peoples who are capable don’t get jobs or admission seats. Which is not fair.
With this people’s believe on constitution or rules and regulations is decrease and it also puts effort on the right to equality (Article 14 of the Indian constitution) and the equality of opportunity.
Many of the capable people are unemployed or students studied in private sectors just because they belong to general cast and in jobs and government education institutes. Most of the times general people are rejected just because of cast.
According to me, now it’s time to leave this process or concept because other people’s face many problems and it is also unfair.
