 POCSO 2012  (PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM SEXUAL CRIMES)

 Introduction  

 The law deals with crimes against children. The purpose of Law   is to protect children from  sexual abuse.  Notification  The community currently needs so before 2012 the only law in India to prevent these crimes is  Goa Childrens Act, 2004 Rules  and Penal Code 354, 375, 377.

In the absence of strict laws, legislation to address the growing problem of  sexual violence in the country are needed. The POCSO Act was enacted on 14 November 2012, with the efforts of various NGOs, activists and the Ministry of Women and Child Development.Now coming to the Law, the POCSO Law 2012 is not the only law dealing with child abuse.  POCSO law itself cannot be a law, law, ipc, jj law, it overlaps with the 2000 law and covers the procedure and specifies the crime.  What features can be provided in the law:  Victim confidentiality  Gender-neutral provisions  Mandatory reporting of  abuse Children Final Results Investigations Child-Friendly Investigations and Trials  POC Overview44 Offenses 4 Crimes Against Children  Offenses Law 4 Serious Penalty Law 4 Serious Child Abuse  Assault Aggravated Sexual Assault.  Sexual harassment  Nudity

  From this we can conclude that we have been harassed.  But it needs stricter laws to do justice to these victims
