RADHAKRISHN: AN EPITOME OF SELFLESS LOVE

“Prem ka arth vivah karna nahi hota apeetu poori nishtha ke sath samarpan karna hota hai.”
Why have a love agreement? Marriage is a contract between two people, but when two people love each other, they love each other unconditionally. Love is a selfless emotion shared by two lovers. Krishna thought that love does not necessitate marriage, according to the Vedas. ‘Love does not mean marriage, but dedication with entire devotion,’ Krishna explains in this remark.

Shri Radha Rani is a Hindu goddess and an avatar of Goddess Shakti, while Shri Krishna is Lord Vishnu’s eighth incarnation. “Radha Krishna” is a name that is inextricably linked to one another. When you are ready to say, Krishna, Radha appears first, and vice versa. They are both one soul, manifesting in two different forms. Radha is Krishna, and Krishna is Radha. Radha and Krishna’s love is pure and eternal.

Bhrigu, the father of Goddess Lakshmi, cursed Lord Vishnu for murdering his wife, Kavyamata, claiming that he would have to undergo many avatars on Earth, go through births, and deaths, and be separated from his wife in each one. Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi were cursed to be separated from their earthly avatars in every life as a result of this curse. In the Treta Yuga, it was Ram sand Sita, and in the Dwapara Yuga, it was Radha Krishna.

Radha and Krishna’s true love is unfathomable. The following is an instance that demonstrates their unity. During a festival in Kurukshetra, Krishna saw Radha, who was accompanied by other Gopis. Krishna instructed Rukmini to offer Radha milk late at night. Rukmini did not like it, but she did offer Radha a glass of hot milk. Radha did not say anything and drank the entire glass. Her throat was burned by the hot milk. When Rukmini returned to the tent, she noticed Krishna’s feet had been burned and inquired as to why this had occurred, to which Krishna replied because Radha is Krishna’s heart. As Radha meditates on his feet, it was my feet that were burned, not her throat. Rukmini sobbed as she realized her error. This narrative demonstrates how pure Radha and Krishna’s love is by showing Krishna suffering the same sorrow as Radha (his beloved).

Radha and Krishna were inseparable despite having distinct bodies but sharing the same soul. She may not have been wedded to Krishna like Rukmini and Satyabhama, but she is smeared with love for him on every inch of her body. Radha has only one goal in life: to love Krishna. Even he can not comprehend the depths of her love; it practically overwhelms him. Her devotion to Krishna is unrivaled.

Radha’s ardent devotion to the blue God has elevated her to the same level as him in many cultures. Radha and Krishna, for example, are not separate individuals in the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition; they are worshipped together as Radha-Krishna. Radha is portrayed as full power and Krishna as the possessor of this power in Sri Chaitanya Charitamrita, written by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, a Vaisnava saint, and founder of the Gaudiya Vaishnava Sampradaya ( Vaishanav Sect). They are as inextricably linked as rain and the petrichor it produces, or fire and the heat it produces. Despite this, they have acquired two distinct forms. To do what? Exchange love.

The Divine has given us the desire to love and be loved. Everyone, even God, wishes to be cared for and to be able to care for others. As a result, Krishna and Radha take two different forms.

Radha has evolved into a Goddess in her own right. Krishna is incomplete without her. She is the conduit via which Krishna can be encountered and realized. In a metaphorical sense, she represents our heart’s unfulfilled longings for Krishna. What exactly does he do? When Krishna dances with her in a moonlit forest to the rhythms of love, he honors this component of our existence.
