About Abantika
I am Abantika Kar, a 4 th year law student at Department of Law, University of Calcutta (Hazra Campus), Kolkata. I have done my schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya R.B.N.M Salboni and thereafter I came to Kolkata to pursue my childhood dream of becoming a lawyer. My area of interest in law lies in Criminal Law and Constitutional Law. Additionally, my hobbies are debating, public speaking, writing articles, poems etc. and dancing for they have always been my means of expression and communication, enlightening my extroverted and opinionated nature. I strongly believe that a person can serve the country better if his/her passion becomes his/her work. Hence, I have chosen law as my profession where both my passion and emotional satisfaction lies. Currently my motive is to learn as much as I can for knowledge can only bring me money after few years and thus, I am standing at a phase in my life where no matter what, career is my first priority over anything else.
