People were running out of beds in hospitals just a few months ago, and now they’re running out of rooms in hill stations. With all of this irresponsibility on the part of our people, the third wave of Covid-19 infection in our country is unavoidable. There will, of course, be a third Covid 19 wave. We are unsure if it will occur in October, November, or December of this year. Nobody is aware. The virus, which has no life of its own, destroys the life it enters and results in a horrifying infection. That is the infection that can spread and often results in death.
The government has stated that a third wave is now “inevitable” since India continues to record over three lakh Covid-19 cases every day. K Vijay Raghavan, Principal Scientific Advisor to the Centre, said during a news conference held by the Health Ministry, “A phase three is inevitable, given the greater levels of circulating virus, however it is not known on what time scale this phase three will occur.” Vaccines against current variations are effective. New varieties will emerge all over the world, including in India, although transmission-increasing variants will likely plateau. Immune evasive variations, as well as those that reduce or increase disease severity, will emerge in the future,” he said. A study of more than 40 healthcare professionals from around the world was recently conducted in response to the influx of the dangerous third wave of covid. Given the increased rate of immunizations in India, they believe the third wave will be better managed than prior epidemics.
Many COVID variations are currently active in India, and these variants are spreading the infection throughout multiple states and areas. The most hazardous of these is the Double Mutant virus, which has been given the designation B.1.617 by scientists and is exclusively produced in India. COVID variants are currently available in the United Kingdom, Brazil, South Africa, and the United States of America. Many additional viral varieties have been discovered in various states. The Andhra Pradesh variety is the one that gets the most attention. However, there are several limitations to this variation. According to a study conducted by experts, these mutations are currently causing new strains of the virus to emerge, allowing the virus to attack humans in a variety of ways. And, because there are so many variations, a third wave of COVID could arrive in the country.
The important thing to remember here is that the first wave of COVID would kill the lungs in ten days. This time period was decreased from 5 to 7 days in the second wave. And it’s been stated that the third wave can last up to three days. According to some studies, the virus targeted the elderly in the first wave, youth in the second wave, and children in the third wave. According to a recent survey, children under the age of 18 now make up 30% of India’s entire population. So yet, no vaccine for children under the age of 18 has been introduced. According to this study, if children over the age of 18 are vaccinated, the virus will attack youngsters under the age of 18. Children aged 6 to 12 years can potentially be seriously harmed.
It is high time for people to realise that what misery they are bringing upon them by being such casual, not wearing masks, going in public gatherings, trips and what not. People are dying, loosing their loved ones, their innumerable pain and sufferings and even seeing to all this some careless people don’t take it seriously which is a matter of grave concern. Families have lost many of their members just in a span of 1 year, all because of covid and still there are people out there saying – “ Corona kuch nhi hota” and not taking this seriously. It’s high time for people to take covid seriously. High time !!
