What does writing mean to you ?

In simple words, we can say that writing is “the way we use written words to express our ideas or opinions.” We as individuals write for many things and for many reasons, and each of us have our own way to express our inner thoughts. Writing is nothing but expressing our innermost self through creative ideas and ingenuity. Through writing, a person is able to expand his thoughts into innovative ideas and also increases the ability of conceptualization. It creates a spark within the mind which helps us imagining more effectively. There are no limits to what you can write about and how you write, it’s just you and your unique thoughts on the paper making it more valued. Every word, poem, articles, whatever you write has it’s own weightage and that’s what makes your thinking creative.

Writing can also be a form of revelation. The time we start thinking and writing those thoughts, provides us a path of thinking and puff out our ideas of lucidity, precision and having a complete understanding of an idea. At the end of this path, you will see a much more wiser and knowing part lying within you. Sometimes, you face certain problems in life but have no idea of dealing with it; in that case you must write your problems or thoughts. When you write your problems, in the end you may find the solution, you will know how you can handle the situation. Think of your pen and paper as an extension of your mind. You usually write what your mind says. A person facing difficulty in having perspicacity or clear thought process can easily prevail over this issue through writing.

If you want to have a meaningful talk with someone who would listen to you calmly instead of judging your opinions, you will find that writing is always there for you. Think of a journal as a person who will talk to you about anything, and will always keep up your enthusiasm at its best and help you knowing yourself and will also help your mind in enhancing skills. Through writing, you will find a clear path that will guide you to a better understanding of life.

We can also say that writing is like a mirror, as it is also the sense of contemplation that adds dimensions of meaning to reflections. It is not only the reflection of oneself but also a belief to reflect onto oneself. Writing is that old wives’ tales that relights life. It is that act of play where you are both actor and audience. It is both the cause and the outcome of your performance. It originates with a gush, from within. When it begins to flow like a gush of thoughts, it seeps and snakes through people’s mind, one after another.

At last I would sum-up my article by saying; fortunately, some of the world’s greatest writers, the ones whose names have been passed down to us through time, took time in-between the creation of their of their novels, short stories and poems to systematize their writing philosophies, strategies and their habits.

“You have to write the book that wants to be written.”

It’s upto us whether we want to read or make people read about our writings. Either write something worth reading or do something worth wriring.
