Law refers to a set of rules decided as per particular place and made by authority meant for the purpose of keeping the peace and security of society. Law, according to some, is a command of a sovereign backed by sanctions. Oliver Wendell Holmes defines it as “a statement of the circumstances in which public force will be brought to bear upon through courts” while Leon Duguit states that law as “essentially and exclusively as a social fact.”
John Austin’s law definition states “Law is the aggregate set of rules set by a man as politically superior, or sovereign to men, as political subjects.”

Law in society is not something that emerges from beyond its bounds. It is, in fact, a fundamental societal construct. Law is essential to govern the nation to regulate society. Law is essential for economic prosperity of a nation , it is essential to ensure proper functioning of a business in society. The law is essential to regulate people’s behaviour in conformity with societal norms, such as contract laws, regulatory laws, prohibition laws, personal laws, and so on. Law is important to balance the damage done by the victim against the person and society in general. Law is important to ensure Justice in society.

Law is important to ensure that there is a proper order in society for it is essential to gather and extract profits from the masses by using taxation laws. Our lives revolve around the law. It doesn’t matter if it’s about society, education, politics, or business. Law is essential for sole existence of human in society because if there will be no law than it will be almost impossible for people to live there is always a possibility of conflict and fighting among people there will be unrest as there will be no way by which people will be governed.

I have always been against Glorifying Over Work and therefore, in the year 2021, I have decided to launch this campaign “Balancing Life”and talk about this wrong practice, that we have been following since last few years.
